Selecting the right Speedgate for your facility depends on more than opening speed alone. Security requirements, traffic volume, installation conditions and system integration all influence which gate configuration is most suitable.
Bavak offers several U.S.-made bi-folding Speedgates, each developed for a different combination of security, operation and installation requirements. For locations with additional security requirements, specific configurations can provide enhanced forced-entry or ballistic resistance. These classifications are separate from vehicle-impact protection.
Bavak Speedgates are designed to control and secure vehicle access. They are not crash-rated vehicle barriers. Where protection against hostile vehicle impact is required, the entrance can be designed with appropriately tested bollards, road blockers or other vehicle-security barriers in addition to the Speedgate.
