The Bavak B-Protect is a high-security bi-folding gate designed for vehicle entrances where controlled access forms part of the physical security perimeter.
Depending on the selected configuration, the B-Protect is available with RC2, RC3 and RC4 resistance classifications according to EN 1627. These classifications relate to resistance against defined forced-entry methods and apply to the specific tested or certified configuration.
Where additional protection is required, the B-Protect can also be supplied with ballistic protection up to FB6, depending on the selected configuration. Forced-entry resistance and ballistic protection address different threats and should therefore be selected according to the site-specific threat assessment and security requirements.
The bi-folding design supports rapid and controlled vehicle access while maintaining physical closure of the entrance. This makes the B-Protect suitable for government and defense facilities, critical infrastructure, energy and utility sites, data centers and other high-security environments.
The gate can also operate as part of an integrated vehicle entrance together with access control, license plate recognition, video surveillance, vehicle detection and other security systems.
